I am not a natural boutique shopper – to be honest I’ve always felt a little intimidated in small shops and sometimes under pressure to buy. That all changed though when I first walked in to O’Keefe’s. After a friendly welcome Janine and her staff left me alone to browse until I asked to try something on. I didn’t actually buy anything that day, but they were so lovely I went back and I’ve been going back ever since.

When I first walked through the door of O'Keefe's in Claygate all those years ago I knew I'd discovered something quite unique. Janine's first shop was tiny but the service, the wonderful clothes and the attention to detail ensured that after that first visit I returned on a very regular basis. Possibly too regular a basis, as my husband joked that he should buy shares in the company!

Since O'Keefe has moved to Esher High Street the reasons why I shop there have remained unchanged. Janine and her loyal and wonderful team always go that extra mile to make sure that whatever you buy, you buy it for all the right reasons. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble.

It is truly a shopping experience that is always a treat and somehow, even now after all these years, I never ever seem to be able to leave empty handed!
